Newlight academy is private school officially  started on 4th of January 2016  with 56 pupils  where 29 boys and 27 girls .The school  is belong to madam RUTH LOICE  MACHIO . The name of school  Newlight mean reflect the vision of school to promote high quality of  education

 The school is English  medium . in school we have only three class room and one office  and two toilet  with three teachers , two  among them  are men and one woman .school is located at kisakasaka village  3.3 kilometer   from  the main road  (Zanzibar town to Fumba village)  the aims of establishing the school is to promote the quality education to all  children  where by there parent  ware not able to send them to school due low income and lack  school for  promoting  good education to children .   Now school we have nursery  kindergarten (k .g) one and (k.g) two  and Primary . (s.t.d) one and (s.t.d) two..  Kg one we have 10 boys and 18 girls ,both 28.  Kg two we have 10 boys and 7 girls ,both 17 , so in  kindergarten we  have now 45 students.   And primary we have (s.t.d ) one 7 boys and 8girls ,both  are 15 pupils .
